Emily Irene VanCamp was born in Canada. She is an actor who has appeared in a variety of television shows. She also excels in the film industry. There is a huge fanbase on American as well as Canadian television. Emily first became interested when she watched her sister Katie doing a movie. When she realized her love for acting, she began to take acting classes, and then going for auditions. Her first break came at 15 years old when she got a role on the series of the WB called Glory Days as a regular. Emily's performance caught the eye to Dawson's Creek's Greg Berlanti, who then made her a part of his television show Everwood.
